Know what MyCompass supports, and what it does not replace.
The MyCompass System provides supportive monitoring, reminders, alerts, and notifications. It is not a substitute for emergency services, professional judgment, or a guaranteed real-time response.
Supportive monitoring, reminders, alerts, notifications, and related support functions.
Not a medical device, except where a separately FDA-cleared integrated device is used under its own clearance and labeling. The Services are not a personal emergency response system (PERS), are not a guaranteed real-time emergency-response service, and do not replace 911, emergency services, or professional medical, clinical, or caregiving judgment.
Alerts and notifications depend on device, network, sensor, power, and configuration conditions and may be delayed, incomplete, or undelivered.
Certain Integrated Services may include devices that are FDA-cleared medical devices, provided and used in accordance with their own FDA clearance and labeling. Except for those devices as labeled, the Services are not a medical device.
If you believe there is a medical or other emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number) immediately.
